this is my snow horse which melted yesterday Monday March 3, cause it got dramatically warm outside. the snow was a bit too packy which turned really hard once I packed it together which made it really hard to shave so I used a snow shovel to shape as well as a mini hand held garden rake. It took me 3 - 3 1/2 hours to make him he turned out to be an Arabian ... go figure eh! i didnt even plan that it just happened. Anyways I make a snow sculpture every year cept for last year cause we never had packy snow at a time when i was available to build one. I worked mostly from my head although 2 times I got stumped so I looked at a photograph of a foal to get back on track. It has snowed quite a bit this year and I'm hoping for another packy snow day so I can make another which i am yet to decide what to make.
